Christmas is celebrated every year on the 25th of December. It is the holy day of Jesus’ birth.

Children of all ages get gifts from St. Nick; other ways known as Santa Claus, in most places that is. At night, Santa come through the chimney(if you don't have one, his magic will make one appear for the night) and set all of the presents under the tree for the children to open in the morning.
Christmas stockings are hung for the clever Santa to put smaller gifts inside of it for the children such as candy, coloring books, ect. A stocking is shaped like a large foot.

Something used to help celebrate Christmas is a Christmas tree, usually a pine tree. People decorate it with colorful lights, and ornaments. A star or angle is regularly put of the top that represents the Northern Star from the Nativity story from Jesus’ birth.

Something that most children like to do each year for Christmas is bake cookies for Santa Clause. Once the cookies are done they usually set them out near the presents and leave a not on top, or next to the cookies.
For most people Christmas is a time to celebrate, so a majority of these people decorate their house with bright, glowing lights. These lights make the house glow in the night. There are many signs of Christmas that you can use to decorate your home: lights, snowflakes, Santa Clause, a reef, a snowman, and many more.
